The Chairman of the National Assembly of Nagorno-Karabakh Davit Ishkhanyan, in response to Yerkir.am’s, has said that Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan was familiar with the text of the statement of the Security Council of the Republic of Artsakh.
“In order to avoid unnecessary speculations and to refrain from rumors and fabrications, I would like to inform that from the first moment of the military operations carried out by Azerbaijan on September 19 of this year, the RA prime minister was aware of all the processes and developments. Moreover, the statement of the Security Council of the Republic of Artsakh, which is the price of the ceasefire, was subject of discussion and the responsible circles of RA, including the RA prime minister himself, were familiar with the text of the statement in advance.
“I am sorry that our parliamentary colleagues in RA, probably not being aware of these details, are trying to find culprits or blame other responsible persons due to their lack of awareness.
The situation and current conditions in Artsakh do not allow us to present more details.
We hope that showing a committed and responsible attitude will keep our partners away from the temptation to serve the interests of narrow political circles by distorting reality,” said Davit Ishkhanyan.
