Tehran will host the 2nd specialized exhibition Eurasia Expo 2023 in December as Iran is in the final stages of concluding a free trade agreement with the Eurasian Economic Union.
According to the administrative manager of the event, Alireza Jafari, the exhibition will be held at the Tehran International Exhibition Center.
Eurasia Expo 2023 is scheduled for December 4-7.
According to the international exhibition portal ExpoClub.ru, the event is held with the support of the Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade of Iran and the Trade Promotion Organization of Iran.
The exhibition will be attended by companies from the member countries of the Eurasian Economic Union: Russia, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Iran. Ministers and heads of Chambers of Commerce of the EAEU countries were invited.
From the Iranian side, the heads of the Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Cooperatives, as well as representatives of the Organization of Agriculture from 32 provinces of the country, along with representatives of large enterprises and more than 100 trade unions, will be present.
Large companies from the countries of the region are officially invited. Over 10,000 visitors are expected to attend from over 40 countries, including China, Indonesia, Korea, India, Egypt, Serbia and some Latin American countries.
Main sectors include agriculture, food industry, mechanical engineering, construction, oil and gas industry, medical equipment, pharmaceuticals, among others.
