Armenia’s Ambassador to Egypt Hrachya Poladyan met with Egypt’s Minister of Culture Neveen Youssef Mohamed Al-Kilany on Monday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia informs Armenian News-NEWS.am.
The interlocutors expressed readiness to make joint efforts for the further development of cooperation. In this regard, the Armenian ambassador emphasized the updating of the respective legal framework between the two countries. At the same time, Ambassador Poladyan noted that the Armenian side is planning to carry out activities to hold Cultural Days of Armenia in Egypt in the coming year. For the further expansion of cooperation, the parties underscored as well the intensification of mutual visits of official delegations and cultural groups.
During the meeting, Ambassador Poladyan handed to Minister Al-Kilany an invitation to the Democracy, Peace and Security Summit of the Women Political Leaders to be held in Armenia in October. And the Egyptian minister expressed interest in attending this summit.
