World Sport Ranking: Armenia drops to 105th.

Armenia has “retreated” in the World Sport Ranking, which is compiled by worldsportranking.info and based on the analysis of annual international competitions in 115 sports.

Accordingly, Armenia has fallen by 13 places in the 2022 ranking compared to 2021 and is 105th among 206 countries.

The top ten in the ranking are the USA, France, the UK, Australia, Spain, Japan, Brazil, Italy, China, and Argentina.

According to the results of 2022, Armenia is ranked 42nd among the 50 European countries. Solely North Macedonia, Malta, Albania, Andorra, Kosovo, Monaco, San Marino, and Liechtenstein are below Armenia.

According to the World Sport Ranking Armenia has the highest rankings in chess (6th), sambo (15th), weightlifting (17th), arm wrestling (20th), wrestling (26th), boxing (45th), wushu (51st), mixed martial arts (58), dancesport (60), gymnastics (64), shooting (69), powerlifting (73), and football-futsal (89).
